Located within the production area of the DOC Friuli Colli Orientali, in Corno di Rosazzo, the Valentino Butussi winery was born in 1910 and bears the name of its founder and progenitor of the family. Valentino Butussi is a representative company of the territory that has chosen the path of organic viticulture, obtaining the certification in 2013. In the cellar, the steel containers are intended for vintage wines, while for the selections, the use of cement is preferred and large barrels of untoasted wood (from three to sixty hectoliters), for the reserve whites the traditional Friulian seven hundred liter barrel is used.

Description
GROUND: Hilly bottom, made up of stratified marls and sandstones depth and surface colluvials HARVEST: Manual, the harvest period is visually evaluated at the achievement of optimal ripening of the grapes, which in this vineyard takes place between the first and second decade of September. VINIFICATION: The grape is separated from the stalk and remains in contact with the skins for 12 hours of maceration after which it is softly pressed to extract the must, which comes immediately cooled to a temperature of 10-12°C for natural static clarification. The flower must is separated from the less noble parts, and sent to oak vats where the fermentation will take place, and the following aging until spring. AGING: 6-8 months in 60HL and 7HL oak barrels and 2-4 months in bottle before being sold. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WINE: White with great structure, with good strength and acidity elevated. Fine and elegant with aromas reminiscent of apple and i acacia flowers. Aged it evolves into a very pleasant bouquet where artemisia is found. Aperitif wine, suitable for a wide variety range of light appetizers, soups, egg or fish dishes.
