Muller Thurgau is a mountain white wine characterized by great freshness and drinkability that is born at over 800 meters above sea level in the Bassa Atesina. Grape variety: Müller Thurgau (Riesling x Madeleine Royal) – Alto Adige DOC
Origin: This Müller Thurgau grows 800 meters above sea level. Well
hills lined up in the South Tyrolean plain. The favorable altitude of
Vineyard on clay and limestone gravel from moraine sediments, the
gently sloping slope and ideal exposure to the sun leave the grapes
of this variety ripen very well.
Yield per hectare: 65 hl
Vinification: The grapes are pressed and destemmed in a
pneumatic tank press. Before the pressing process takes place a six to
Eight-hour cold maceration to emphasize the fruitiness of the wine.
Then the grapes are pressed gently and through natural
Sedimentation clarified by cloudy substances. The alcoholic fermentation takes place with
Pure culture yeasts at a controlled temperature of 19 °C in stainless steel containers.
Characteristics: Fruity white wine, mineral with
distinct character.
Colour: from greenish to straw yellow
Smell: very fruity, slightly musky with spicy floral notes
Taste: elegant, dry, good spiciness, fine acidity with pleasant
departure
