Peter Zemmer's Riesling is a very captivating white wine from South Tyrol thanks to its subtle acidity and soft roundness. It has a light yellow color with golden reflections. The aromatic spectrum is very broad, with aromas of citrus, lychee, aromatic herbs and white flowers. The sip has a nice texture and roundness. Very fresh and enjoyable.
Grape variety: Riesling – Alto Adige DOC Origin: This Riesling thrives in good microclimatic conditions and on sandy alluvial soils with limestone gravels in the valley floor around Kurtinig adW The loving care of the vineyard and the well-ventilated air The microclimates provide the best conditions for a optimal growth Vine, in order to guarantee grapes of the highest quality. Yield per hectare: 55 hl Vinification: The grapes are crushed and destemmed in a pneumatic tank press. Before the pressing process, a six to eight hour cold maceration takes place to enhance the precious fruitiness of the wine. Then the grapes are gently pressed and through natural sedimentation clarified by the cloudy substances. Alcoholic fermentation Produced with pure cultured yeasts at a controlled temperature of 19ºC in a closed stainless steel container. Characteristics: Elegant white wine, characterized by interesting aromas with fruity finish. Colour: from greenish to light yellow Smell: delicate floral with aromas of peaches and apricots Taste: elegant, dry, persuasive with subtle and captivating notes of acidity and lively fullness Recommended food: appetizers, fish dishes, vegetables Serving temperature: 10 - 12 °C Shelf life: 3 – 5 years
