100% Montonico, whole bunch carbonic maceration fermentation for a week in cement tanks, then pressed and refined in the same. A territorial grape juice with infinite drinkability! From one of the oldest grapes of Abruzzo here is a wine with super floral aromas and sensations, a slightly citrusy freshness and a lot of minerality! Vibrant like all Lammidia wines!!!
This natural white wine is obtained from Montonico (hence the name), an indigenous Abruzzo vine that is rarely cultivated today. It is a pleasant wine, with fruity and dusty floral aromas. On the palate we discover a beautiful minerality, floral notes and a bit of citrus in the finish. Excellent as an aperitif and with small bites.Vinification: fermentation in whole bunch carbonic maceration for a week in concrete tanks, then pressing and aging in the same tanks. A territorial grape juice of infinite drinkability! From one of the oldest grapes of Abruzzo, this is a wine with floral aromas and sensations, a slightly citrus freshness and a super minerality!Montonico is the progenitor of Garganega (the famous Soave grape), and today it is found mainly in the Teramo area. There are only 700 hectares left in the world! Here David and Marco vinified whole bunches for a week before aging in concrete tanks.Notes: Incredibly floral on the nose, but full of winter citrus on the palate. Italian whites are rarely "juicy", but we give the seal of approval on this one.
