This elegant Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is born between the Majella and the Adriatic Sea. Soil and microclimate, low yield and selection of the bunches give life to a product that tells these places intensely.


Altitude of the vineyards: 432 meters above sea level Exposure: the vineyards enjoy an excellent south, south-east exposure Soil: mixed clay-clay / limestone structure Grapes: 100% Montepulciano Number of vines per hectare: 3,600-8,000 Training system : Spurred cordon / Simple Guyot Yield: 80 q / ha Harvest: 15-30 October, with manual harvesting Fermentation: in stainless steel vats from 70 to 150 hl. with daily punching down at a controlled temperature maceration for 15-18 days Elevation: in French oak barrels of different capacities (from 2.25 to 7 hl.) for 18 months Refinement: in bottle for at least 12 months First Vintage: 1998
