Production area: Sambuca di Sicilia (AG), Sicily. Grapes and Vinification: Nerello Mascalese, Nero DAvola. The grapes are harvested, pressed and fermentation begins in contact with the skins. After a very long maceration, the wine is decanted into barrique where it rests for about 6 months. Color and Pairing: Red, excellent with pasta dishes with sauce and game.

When a weight reduction of 15-20% has been obtained, the grapes are harvested, pressed and fermentation begins in contact with the skins. After a very long maceration, the wine is decanted into barriques where it rests for about 6 months. Sensory Characteristics: Deep and impenetrable ruby red color. It is an explosion of aromas of red fruit and ripe blackberry, oriental spices, pink pepper and leather well integrated with each other. In the mouth, it is warm, powerful and pleasantly persistent, the well-expressed tannins are perfectly balanced with the natural residual sugar and freshness, so as to make the sip fascinating.
