Ruby red wine with garnet reflections. It smells like jam, red berry fruit, with a slight sensation of spice. Intense, persistent, of fine quality. The taste shows a slight hint of licorice. Savory wine, full-bodied, tannic and balanced softness. Montepulciano 100%. Alcohol content 13.0%.
Production area: Ortonese hinterland, Caldari, Crecchio, Arielli area. Soil: medium mixture with skeleton presence. Grape variety: Montepulciano Harvest - Vinification: destemming and pressing, vinification with maceration and fermentation at a controlled temperature. Maturation of the wine for about 12 months in steel and subsequently in large oak barrels for a maximum of 24 months in an underground vault, naturally conditioned. Prolonged rest of the wine in the bottle. Organoleptic characteristics: ruby red with (garnet reflections). Aroma of red berry fruit jam, with a slight spicy sensation. Intense, persistent, of fine quality. The taste shows a slight hint of licorice. Savory wine, full-bodied, tannic and balanced softness.
