Grapes: Montepulciano (native vine). Vinification: the hand-picked bunches are traditionally vinified with a long maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature. After racking, once the malolactic fermentation is over, the wine decants in stainless steel tanks. Aging: in barriques for 10/18. View: intense red with slight dark purple reflections. Pairings: important first courses based on mushrooms, truffles, succulent sauces. Ideal with grilled lamb, kebabs, game and baked red meats. It is also appreciated with cured meat appetizers and aged cheeses. Serving temperature: to be served in balloon anchovies at a temperature of 18/20 ° C. Alcohol content: 13.5% vol. Nose: elegant bouquet in which hints of black cherry and wild berries are combined with notes of black pepper, cocoa and balsamic aromas. Taste: full, harmonious, the typical tannins of Montepulciano stand out on the palate, balanced by a complex structure, pulpiness and softness. The aftertaste shows nuances of jam and a good persistence.
