Initial refinement in stainless steel tanks with subsequent stay in large barrels, until reaching a structural complexity necessary to support further evolution in small barrels. Full, warm, full-bodied flavor. With a long and persistent finish.
Vinification : the harvested grapes are traditionally vinified through a long maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature. During fermentation, the extracted must is frequently reassembled on the pomace cap. The wine decants in stainless steel tanks to complete the malolactic fermentation, at the end it ages in wooden barrels to enhance its organoleptic characteristics.
Color : Intense red.
Nose : Red fruit, blackberry and morello cherry jam, hints of violets. Appreciable nuances of vanilla, cocoa, hazelnut, leather, licorice and black pepper.
Taste : Warm, full-bodied. Soft and balanced tannin. Long and persistent finish.
