Mazzano Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2011 - Masi
€99.00

Austere and majestic Cru, the prototype of Amarone. It draws its unique and recognizable style from the vineyard of the same name, characterized by ideal exposure and significant altitude. The marly and humus-rich limestones nourish it giving it great personality. The grapes concentrate their aromas by naturally withering in traditional lofts during the cold winter months. A certain austere nobility mitigates with soft tannins and a velvety elegance.
Appearance: intense ruby red. Nose: ripe cherry and sweet spices. Palate: rich and intense of cherry and wild berries, good persistence and soft tannins. Appaxximento: Masi 's expertise in the technique of wines from dried grapes.
Pairings
Wine of rare eclecticism. It goes well with pasta with sauces rich in meat or mushrooms; important red meats, grilled or roasted, and game. Ideal with aged cheeses.
