This rosé is made from Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Ciliegiolo grapes. At the beginning of fermentation, the must is removed after a short stay on the skins (saignée) and cherry and then assumed a pink color. Fermentation in steel and bottling in the month of February following the harvest. It combines the aromas and elegance of a white with the structure of a young red wine.
VINTAGE CHARACTERISTICS The mild winter allowed a very early germination unfortunately on the night of March 25th the temperatures dropped below 0 and the Sangiovese was severely damaged, with a significant reduction in yields in spring, sunny days alternated with rain and the summer, not excessively hot, allowed the grapes to reach perfect ripeness in a short time.
