NOTESCarricante, an indigenous white grape variety, is cultivated almost exclusively on Etna. As early as 1999, the Catania family had the intuition to plant this vine in the hills of the Monti Iblei where it has acclimatised very well, producing a wine with strong organoleptic qualities, strong territorial typicality and great longevity, unique of its kind. It is mineral and salty, with an acidic streak that supports a long and persistent fruit. There is nothing similar in Italy
