The ancient depiction of the famous mosaic in Piazza Armerina, in the province of Enna, tells the legend of Eros (Love) and Psyche (Beauty) who, out of envy of Venus, are forced to love each other secretly.
This passion gives birth to a daughter who will be called Voluptà (Pleasure). This symbol is meant to represent a metaphor where Eros is Gulfi, whose love for his beautiful land (Psyche) gives birth to his wines that are an expression of pure pleasure (Voluptuousness).
