- TASTING NOTES The first sparkling wine vinified with the classic method from one hundred percent Nuragus grapes arrives on the market. The company is betting on another vine of the Sardinian tradition and elevates it to its maximum expression in bubbles, for the first time in purity. The production is of only three thousand bottles. The native Sardinian white grape variety, which lends itself well to expression in bubbles, is interpreted by Argiolas according to the sophisticated method of Champagne and Franciacorta. Another important step taken by the winery in the enhancement of one of the oldest grape varieties in Sardinia; the work on Nuragus is now added to the process begun with the revaluation of traditional grape varieties such as Nasco and Monica. Testimony of how an elegant and complex wine can be obtained from a simple vine often underestimated. \ n
- DESCRIPTION Antonio Argiolas at the end of the thirties founded the winery. For decades, he made her grow, and she continued to be there even when she passed the baton to her children. Today his grandchildren, the third generation of the family, work here. We were born and we work in a precious territory. It is in the middle of the Mediterranean that softens its climate, between sun and wind, with landscapes and soils perfect for vines and vineyards. Preserving and preserving all this intact is a responsibility, a daily commitment that guides us in every decision. We carefully choose the land of our vineyards, for the soil, the exposure, the climate, the altitude. Each estate is different and makes the bunches it gives birth to unique. At the beginning of the 1900s the property was made up of small vineyard plots located around Serdiana, in the province of Cagliari. The foresight in enhancing local vines, such as Vermentino, Cannonau and Carignano, to the detriment of international varieties, combined with passion and entrepreneurial skills, have made it possible to expand their vineyards up to about 200 hectares today. \ n
- AGING First aging of seven months, partly in steel and partly in barrique, 48 months of aging on the lees, six months of aging in the bottle after disgorgement. \ n
