Production Area Vineyard located in the municipality of Controguerra on a hill at an altitude of 250 meters with South-East exposure. Loose medium-textured soil. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grape variety 100%. Grapes grown in counter espalier with spurred cordon pruning. Yield of no more than 80 quintals of grapes per hectare. Production technique Grapes harvested by hand after crushing and destemming, they are sent to maceration in fermenters at a controlled temperature. The pressing of the pomace takes place in a soft way, with pneumatic machines. The wine is aged for a minimum of 24 months in small oak barrels of 115 Lt. and in barriques. Once bottled, a further refinement period, in bottles, of over six months follows. Color Intense red, with violet reflections. Bouquet Fine and elegant with notes of red fruits and spices.
