The color is straw yellow with greenish notes, the fruity scent with citrus notes, persistent. Good structure, excellent freshness, full and intense flavor. Excellent as an aperitif, it accompanies all fish-based dishes revealing a predilection for crustaceans and seafood, even raw. It is the perfect match with white meats and unseasoned cheeses.
GRAPES Passerina. PRODUCTION AREA In the heart of the province of Chieti in Abruzzo, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea. SOILS Hilly, with an average altitude of 230 meters above sea level, for the most part clayey-calcareous. MARKETING PERIOD January / February of the year following that of harvest. VINIFICATION AND AGING Short cold maceration of the crushed grapes, soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS Straw yellow color with greenish notes. Persistent and fruity aroma, with citrus notes. Good structure, excellent freshness, full and intense flavor. GASTRONOMIC COMBINATIONS All dishes based on fish, shellfish and seafood, including raw ones, non-mature cheeses, white meats. Excellent aperitif. ALCOHOL CONTENT 12.5% alc./vol.
