Liqueur obtained from the cold infusion of the Ghentiana Lutea roots, a high mountain plant, with very marked tonic and digestive properties, in pure alcohol. The preciousness of the liqueur is enriched by the presence of other herbs which contribute to giving the product a delicately lively taste. The infusion of Ghentianè, which has come down to us from the herbal tradition of the Abruzzo monks, was widely used in the Middle Ages as a remedy for gastrointestinal problems of various kinds and even as a febrifuge, thanks to the active ingredient of genziopicrin present within the root. The liqueur produced at an alcohol content of 30° has a warm color with amber reflections typical of Gentian. The rich bouquet of herbs, as well as characterizing the visual nuances of the product, also enriches the olfactory and gustatory ones, mitigating the bitter scent of the gentian root and giving a pleasant and fresh aftertaste that remains persistent over time. Alcohol content: 30% vol. Capacity: 70cl. gentian roots
