This wine was kept for years in small wooden barrels. It was opened, to offer it to diners, on the occasion of the First Communion and subsequently for the marriage of the child. Deliciously accompanied by typical Abruzzo desserts, sweets with almonds or in any case dry pasta.

Don Carlo had two sons: you already know the first and he is # capoccio; the second I present to you now and it is #sheriff. From family stories, the six sisters describe him as a rather touchy child who cried often. The only thing that made him feel good were westerns, and hence his nickname. His eyes, as a child as well as an adult, have never stopped being… sparkling! And for now that's the only thing I can tell you about wine.

Cooked wine is a typical Abruzzo tradition that has been handed down since the 10th century BC and which was in danger of disappearing. Driven by the desire to renew the habits of our ancestors, we have kept this custom alive by following the principles we have been taught: full respect for the biological rhythms of the vineyard and passion for work.
After many years of experience with the Marramiero Brut and the maturation of the Pinot Nero vineyards, the passion has pushed us to compare ourselves with a classic Rosé method. Only after a long and patient work and many months of permanence on the yeasts can we obtain those characteristics of excellence set for us to begin the marketing of our Rosé.
From the deep love of a family for their land and for wine, the sparkling wine Marramiero Brut is born. Particular dedication and profound experience accompany every moment of sparkling wine making. The process begins with the selection of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes and continues with the choice of yeasts for refermentation in the bottle. The temperature control allows to prolong the fermentation and obtain a fine and persistent perlage.
Between the Gran Sasso and the sea, in the Sant'Andrea Estate, on the Pescaresi Hills, the "Dante Marramiero " is born from mature vines, among which our winemakers make a careful selection of the bunches already in the veraison period, to arrive to a homogeneous and optimal ripening. It is refined for 120 months.
It comes from particularly suitable areas of the Terre dei Vestini, where the low yields of grapes per hectare are not the result of any forcing: it is the soil itself that, by its nature, gives balance to the vineyard, ensuring that each cluster contains within itself a extraordinary concentration of quality. It is aged for 40 months: initially with fermentation and long maceration in Ganymede, then in stainless steel vats and subsequently in fine oak barriques to be completed with a stay in the bottle for at least 6 months.
It originates from small bunches of Chardonnay, harvested manually in a vineyard that over the years has reached the right balance to produce grapes of great concentration. It is fermented in small oak barrels where it remains for a long period, so as to enrich its complex aging.
Chardonnay "international grape" in the Abruzzo region manages to acquire strength and robustness that harmonize perfectly with the elegance inherent in its nature, giving life to a unique product that fully expresses the peculiar characteristics of our "terroir".

Ideal with appetizers, delicate first courses also based on fish.
From the desire to continue to rediscover the link with one's roots, this wine is born which takes its name from an ancient measure: "sessantapassi", which corresponds to the width in Neapolitan steps of the tratturo that crosses our vineyards. A very delicate wine with a pale straw yellow color with greenish reflections, fruity aromas with very subtle floral notes, a decidedly dry, fresh and lively flavor. It goes well with soups, white meats, appetizers and fish-based dishes, also excellent as an aperitif.

This new version of Pecorino is the result of a double selection: in the choice of the vineyards and in the harvest of the best grapes. Authenticity and ease go hand in hand in love, but can they happily bind together in a wine? What is the recipe for greatness? Adapt to trends or reject them? Is madness doing what others do or creating a personal taste by selecting native vines? For my way of being, always restless and never satiated with questions, the answer is fluctuating. For this I have decided to propose some of my best productions within this selection. The wines of Vinosophia rediscover the ancient native grape varieties, interpreting them in the most authentic way in search of the fatal attraction, seduction and memory. The wines of Vinofollia adapt the great international vines without distorting their essence. Am I insane, am I wise? Get an idea by enjoying my vinosophical ideas. Alluring because in search of emotions. Surprising because bored with predictability. Fogged by global trends. Satisfied with my way of making an international wine "homegrown". In this Pinot Grigio with floral scents, strongly mineral, senselessly citrusy, there is the lucid madness of my thought.

Vinified according to a straightforward style, Montepulciano Marina Cvetic expresses the fundamental characteristics of the starting variety, with fruity and floral scents in perfect balance, followed by a long finish with notes of cocoa beans.

Nubile Pecorino Colli Aprutini is produced only in very particular years, when the right soil and climatic conditions are met. The 2015 vintage, in fact, is only the second ever made! For this reason the alcohol content of this particular wine is the highest of the whole production
The spearhead among our production of red wines. Il Celibe is produced from the same R7 clone of the Teramo Hills, starting from a careful selection of the grapes from a vineyard over 50 years old. Unlike the other red wines we choose to produce it only during the best years, when the right soil and climatic conditions are recreated. The expected aging in oak barrels is about 36 months before being finally bottled.
Our Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane docg “Colle Trà” also comes from the traditional R7 clone of the Teramo Hills. Its production starts with a careful selection of the grapes, and then undergoes a long maceration phase in the cellar triggering a spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. A stop in oak barrels for 18 months represents the last phase before the refinement in the bottle.
The Cerasuolo Colle Trà also comes from the R7 clone of Montepulciano. Its “Superiore” denomination depends on its yield per hectare which is lower than that of the basic Cerasuolo. The right ripening of the grapes combined with an adequate selection make this label a unique wine of its kind.
Malvasia Colle Trà comes from a long Malvasia clone, native to the Vibratian territory with tight and elongated clusters. Due to its turgid and at the same time fragile grapes, it is more easily subject to rot, therefore it is not always possible to vinify it every year.
Our Passerina Colle Trà comes from an ancient “spargolo” cluster clone, the so-called “trebbiano scienciato”. Compared to the compactness of the traditional grape, the spargolo has a more elongated shape and is less subject to rot that can occur with humidity. The passerina must undergoes a spontaneous fermentation process, triggered only by indigenous yeasts, the same for all the wines of the Colle Trà line.
Montepulciano Strappelli doc 2019 is the latest addition to the Montepulciano labels, bottled this year for the first time after only aging in steel.
Our Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Strappelli docg comes from the traditional R7 clone of the Teramo Hills. It refines 75% in steel and 25% in French oak barrels of 3rd - 4th passage. In this way, the hints related to it will be softer and less predominant.
Our Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo comes from the traditional R7 clone of Montepulciano. The name of the wine is linked to its color: it derives in fact from the "cerasumà" which means cherry. This is obtained through a medium-long process of cryopreservation, during which the contact between the must and the skins gives the wine the bright cherry color.
Our Pecorino Soprano Strappelli comes from a rather young vine of about 20 years. It is the earliest of the white vines; its harvest during the first week of September opens the dances of the grape harvest. The name Soprano was born to associate the strong voice of the Soprano with the strong character of Pecorino.
Our Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Strappelli comes from a Trebbiano clone from an ancient vineyard of about 50 years. Compared to the more common Trebbiano clones, it differs for its smaller cluster. It is harvested after the first half of September, undergoes fermentation in steel vats to be finally transferred to the bottle.
