We have been cultivating vines since the beginning of the last century and produce wines that can be recognised first and foremost by the labels on which the vigorous sign of the founder's seal stands out. A D and an M intertwine in a root, gnarled and stubborn, determined not to detach itself from the soil on which it has grown. A mark, ours, that represents wines that aspire to continually surpass themselves.

We know each plant and follow it daily through its life cycle with gestures handed down from generation to generation that are complemented by innovative viticulture studies, experimentation and continuous training. The character of our wines, delineated by a strong territorial imprint, is formed in a specific path for each vineyard and each wine, starting from the plant and continuing in the cellar.
TRADITION THAT RECOGNISES ITS DESTINY IN INNOVATION
In the fermentation rooms, the process takes place in open and closed barriques, stainless steel vats, Ganimede. The barrique cellar represents a fundamental moment in the life of those wines that spend up to twenty-four months there. The striving for perfection leads to combining tradition and progress in every detail. Our passion and technical wine culture translate into continuous investment in technology and processes. We have conceived the cellar in such a way as to create environments in which temperatures are constant and differentiated according to the processes and maturation periods.
Few wineries like ours take such great care in selecting the grapes, which after destemming are subjected one by one to the double screening of the X-TRI optical air-jet sorter, which first identifies and expels green or unripe berries, leaves, grass, thanks to a fluorescent analysis, and then rejects all extraneous organic and inorganic elements with an infrared selection. Subsequently, presses, vacuum filters and state-of-the-art fermenters guarantee the maximum enhancement of the original characteristics of the fruit, which will bring all their excellence to the bottles Marramiero.
SUSTAINABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
Our environmental footprint is clearly visible in our quest for sustainability. In the vineyard, we have elevated responsible agriculture with low environmental impact to a method. In the winery, we adopt natural techniques, reducing consumption, producing renewable energy and integrating the winery into the landscape.
