For more than 80 years, the Società Agricola Chiarieri has embodied values of passion and industriousness firmly rooted in the idea that good fruit comes from the earth, not from artificial creation. From the field to the bottle: a completely closed supply chain for both wine and oil. Only in this way will the land of Abruzzo bear its best fruit and offer its full expression. For almost a century now, the family Chiarieri has only lived off all this, and has made this the reason for its existence. The agricultural company Chiarieri is located in Pianella, among the soft hills of the Pescara hinterland.
Over forty hectares of land cultivated with olive groves and vineyards with a breathtaking view, from the immense sea of Pescara to the majestic peaks of Majella and Gran Sasso. Only if you close your eyes can you imagine the wonderful environmental setting of the farm: between the gentle hills of Pescara and the majesty of the Apennines on one side, and the grandeur of the Adriatic Sea on the other. It was in 1927, on the gentle hills inland from Pescara, that Ciriaco Chiarieri began producing wine, having always been devoted to viticulture, olive growing and cereal cultivation. With many years of experience behind him, Giovanni, Ciriaco's heir, manages every aspect of viticulture and olive growing on the farm, choosing the perfect combination of ancient traditions and innovative agricultural practices. The company takes shape, Giovanni's ideals find ample outlet in the entrepreneurial skills of his son Ciriaco, and finally family production is introduced into a much larger context. A tangible demonstration of the bond between the Chiarieri and their land is the entry into the family business of the fourth generation, represented by Ciriaco's children. Giovanna and Francesco are also fascinated by what the land has to offer, so much so that they have decided to open an experiential point that reconstructs the winegrowing environment, sharing their own emotions with anyone who wants to.
