The main grape variety of this wine, Grenache, common to the entire Mediterranean basin and also called alicante, cannonau and garnacha, adapts perfectly to the arid and dry climate of the island. This Riserva was revived from the 2010 vintage almost 20 years after its last edition in 1992. We took that break because over the past 26 years we have progressively reselected and replanted our historic vineyards; we had concentrated on clonal selections, on the different expressiveness of Sangiovese in relation to soil and climatic variations and on the possibility of combining the characteristics of Sangiovese with other international vines. In 2010, however, we found an increased complexity and structure in the grapes from the first replantings of native vines, which convinced us to re-propose the Riserva di Vino Nobile only from native grapes, just like in the 70s and 80s.

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Pianrosso di Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona is produced only in the best years and exclusively with grapes from the Pianrosso vineyards. It is the wine that has always authoritatively represented the terroir and the name of the company. The grapes to be used for the Riserva type are also selected from these vineyards.

In the mouth it leaves a great complexity with successive sensations of fruit and rich jam. The final sensations are of great balance between the sweet note and acidity, with a savory component.

The Castello del Terriccio Toscana Rosso IGT is a red wine produced by Castello del Terriccio company. The style with which this wine is made makes it particularly interesting. It is obtained from a blend of: Syrah for 50%, Petit Verdot for 25% and for the remaining 25% from an original mix of native red berried grapes. All the grapes are rigorously vinified separately, after being carefully selected and harvested by hand.

Meirggio di Fontodi is a juicy and refined Sauvignon Blanc that has a lot to offer white wine lovers. The nose is stolen and crunchy with hints of river rocks, fresh herbs, white wildflowers and a sprinkling of peppery spices. Agile, this wine enhances the palate, driven by its two engines: savory and marked acidity. Pleasant upon release, this sophisticated white will drink wonderfully even in a few years' time. Meriggio comes from the Fontodi vineyard, facing north, La Rota. The grapes ferment in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, and then the wine matures on the lees for six months, mainly in stainless steel, with a small percentage in amphora.

Flaccianello della Pieve is one of the symbolic products of Sangiovese in the Chianti area. The Flaccianello receives minimal treatments in the cellar, according to a production philosophy perfectly consistent with the line undertaken in the vineyard, characterized by a high manual selection of the best grapes: only spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts is carried out.

La Duchessa is a Chianti Riserva made from 100% Sangiovese grapes Aging: After a 12-day rest on the skins, it then ages for about 14 months in barrels Colour: Ruby red with very light garnet textures Aromas: Wide bouquet of dried red flowers, dark berry fruit such as cherry, raspberry, blackberry. Red wine of great impact with a bright color of intense hue. The nose is rich and concentrated with a fruity aroma well preserved in intensity and sweetness, where you feel the contact with the balanced and well-dosed wood. In the mouth it is enveloping, soft and round with a present but silky tannin. The characteristic acidic structure makes Badia a Passignano 2007 a pleasant wine of undoubted longevity, suitable for a long stay in the bottle.
