The Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona estate, located in the south-eastern part of the municipality of Montalcino, extends in the immediate vicinity of the medieval village of Castelnuovo dell'Abate and the famous Romanesque abbey of S. Antimo dating back to the 11th century AD.
Spread over a vast area of 220 hectares, 55.5 of which are dedicated to vineyards and 40 to olive groves, it possesses the typical characteristics of the Tuscan countryside adorned with gentle hills, pastures and woods of unforgettable colours.
Nestled between the Poggio d'Arna and the Orcia river bordering to the south, it offers a unique panorama bordered by the typical profile of Monte Amiata in the background. The scents, wildlife and scattered farmhouses in the valley provide a natural frame for the tranquillity of these places.
