The Chianti Superiore Santa Cristina dei Marchesi Antinori was born in vineyards located in the heart of the renowned Chianti DOCG. It is mainly produced with Sangiovese grapes and with grapes of other complementary vines, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration, separated for the different grape varieties: the most consistent part vinifies for 10-12 days at a controlled temperature of 30 ° C to enrich in complexity. The other part for 7-8 days at maximum temperatures of 25 ° C to extract more soft tannins and preserve the fruit aromas.
