Tasting of the Sustainable Organic line of Cantina Tollo 12 bottles - 4 types of wine: Montepulciano d'Abruzzo - Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo - Trebbiano D'Abruzzo - Pecorino DOP

The grapes destined for the production of this wine are left to macerate for 15-20 days, then at least 5 years in wood. A period that sees alternating barriques and large barrels to end with several months in the bottle before being put on the market.

GRAPES : Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Primitivo di Manduria HARVEST : second half of October for Montepulciano and second half of September for Primitivo. VINIFICATION : long maceration of the skins in steel. Subsequently there is the refinement for 10 months in the bottle. TASTING : dark ruby red color. Fruity with hints of plum, blackberry and cherry, slightly spicy. Complex wine, full-bodied, soft and velvety. Persistent on the palate.
