The La Rocca vineyard is located on the hill of Mount Rocchetta, close to the medieval Scaliger castle of Soave. La Rocca enjoys a particular microclimate, which makes it possible to obtain a wine with a unique and unreproducible bouquet and gustatory notes, typical of a pedigree wine. Innovative, since its debut in 1978, it has marked a deep groove in the territory, becoming an undisputed symbol of quality and tradition.

The Calvarino vineyard is located in the heart of the classic Soave area and represents, for the company, the ancient family fund, purchased in 1901. The name Calvarino derives from "little Calvary", due to the difficulty of working the land and the winding path to reach the bottom. The first label dates back to 1971 and represents the most faithful and authentic expression of Soave wine.

Obtained from Garganega and Trebbiano grapes, Soave Classico comes from the vineyards of the Soave Classico area, north-east of Verona. The fresh grapes are harvested by hand, followed by the pigid-destemming, the subsequent soft pressing and the start of fermentation with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature (14-16 ° C). Refinement takes place in steel. Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, the nose has aromas of citrus fruits, white flowers and light notes of honey. On the palate it is harmonious, fresh, with fruity hints, with a nice acidity and a good structure (the alcohol content is 13%). Ideal as an aperitif, it also goes well with more structured meals, such as summer first courses and fish.

If you are looking for a Martinotti method garganega and do not want to taste a prosecco, here is a sweet that has something different and certainly more complex and intriguing to say. Nice acidity and a fair complexity to the sip that gives a nice full and thick sensation. We always talk about an aperitif wine, not a structured classic method, but certainly a pleasant wine that can be an excellent compromise.
