Pepi was born in two distinct areas, two classic wine-growing areas for Sauvignon, Penon and Pinzon, in the municipalities of Cortaccia and Montagna, on opposite sides of the valley. These vineyards benefit from the sun's heat in very different times and ways. On the western side, the sunlight warms from early morning when the sun rises from the other side, while on the eastern side, the peak of sunlight is shown from early afternoon until sunset.
