The refined blend of grapes that composes it is 85% Sangiovese and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Produced for the first time in 2000. Young and dynamic, Santa Maria Morellino di Scansano presents itself as a fresh, soft and fruity wine, ideal for any occasion. The origin of the grapes is geographically located in the Province of Grosseto in the heart of the Tuscany Region . The vinification foresees a maceration of the skins in the must for at least 11 days. Immediately after the malolactic fermentation is completely carried out after the alcoholic one. The refinement takes place in steel and develops for 10 consecutive months. Before being released, it rests for a further 2 months in the bottle.
