The Chianti Classico Riserva Tenuta Tignanello di Antinori is produced only in excellent vintages, and only from grapes from the vineyards of Tenuta Tignanello, in the Mercatale Val di Pesa area in Chianti Classico. Following the racking, the wines were immediately placed in oak barriques to carry out the malolactic fermentation. After racking, the wines, still separated according to the vineyard of origin, undergo aging in French and Hungarian oak barriques for one year. Very intense ruby red wine with violet reflections. The nose is endowed with great maturity, with notes of red fruit, such as cherry, raspberry and currant, licorice, chocolate and vanilla. On the palate the sweetness and compactness of the tannins make it available, despite its youth. The aftertaste persistence is long and extremely pleasant.

Rich and intense on the nose, with hints of ripe berries, references to black cherry, plum and dark cherry, followed by tertiary components of licorice, resin, graphite and black pepper. The sip is warm, round and slightly savory, guided by an elegant and powerful tannic texture, which overall helps to create a persistent and brilliant character. It goes well with tasty and structured preparations. Try it in combination with wild boar stew.
