In the local dialect Burdese means Bordeaux and refers to the classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It is a red wine of great density, structure and balance, produced in limited quantities from selected vineyards. Burdese is a great aging wine that offers a complexity of aromas and flavors, fruit of the Sicilian sun.

The call of history through the discovery of ancient Romanesque amphorae in our sites has led us to retrace this ancient method of winemaking already mentioned in Pliny's texts.

The vineyards that are at the origin of this wine are the example of an ancient viticulture, the single trees are not supported by stakes and develop like a vase, making it impossible to pass through the vineyard with agricultural machinery. For this wine only the grapes of selected vineyards, over seventy years old, in the territory of the municipality of San Marzano are used. Aging for 6 months in French barriques.

Its particularity is given by the great harmony and elegance, which a great wine rarely manages to express at these levels.

Dress the glass in a beautiful ruby red. The nose rotates all around a beautiful nucleus of ripe red fruit, such as cherry, morello cherry and plum, then embellished with scents that refer the mind to nutmeg, bitter cocoa, tobacco and eucalyptus. The olfactory complexity is repeated on the palate, where tannins, freshness, body and warmth come together in a beautiful balance. Good length. Suitable to accompany meat main courses, it is excellent to be paired with roast leg of lamb.
