Three generations linked by one great passion: the love for their land; they are the foundation that has given life to theAgricultural Company Angeli di Varano. It is from the history of the Chiucconi Family that the challenge was born to produce the best grapes, respecting tradition, to obtain the absolute excellence of Rosso Conero, thus giving this splendid wine the lustre it deserves. Thanks to the most sullen and gruff of vines, and not without giving credit to the many pieces of advice given to him by the veterans of this land, Matteo Chiucconi has chosen the best clones and the best exposures of a "cru" of the Conero to plant the prince vine of this area, the highly prized MONTEPULCIANO.

Farm
Our Fattoria Casalino is located in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, 10 km north of Siena, in the heart of Tuscany, 350 m above sea level, on state road 222, the historic Chiantigiana (km 53/III).
The vineyard slopes of approximately 23 ha, all around the small farmhouse, face east, south and west.
The soil here in the Chianti Classico zone, one of the oldest vineyard zones in the world, is composed of alberese and galestro.
It is difficult to work, but makes for excellent quality wine.
The grape variety is the traditional Sangiovese, here in its optimal age.
In honour of Jacopo Della Quercia, an artist born in the 14th century in nearby Quercegrossa and author of the splendid Fonte Gaia in Siena's Piazza del Campo, we chose the oak branch as the symbol of our natural products.
