It was the year 1889 when our ancestors began to produce the first wines from the vineyards of Casauria in the ancient Pescara valley. From the small hut-shaped vineyard affectionately known as "la brecciara" because the soil was rocky and therefore very rich in limestone, an exceptional wine called "Crosta" was born. Terrain after terrain, passing from the sea to the mountains, in 1939 the natural evolution into the large family farm led with foresight and great humility by 'Don Angelo' who, to the compliments he received for the goodness of his products, simply replied 'it is not me you have to thank but Mother Nature'.
