Intense and intense ruby red color, sometimes impenetrable. Ripe dark cherries, sour cherries in alcohol and black fruit jam are the scents that open the olfactory, then characterized by nuances of mocha, cocoa, marzipan, licorice and rhubarb. The palate is consistent and structured, energetic in the tannic texture and long in persistence. To be paired with second courses of meat, it is perfect with grilled leg of kid.
The Vineyards
The soils of all our vineyards have a clayey texture with a strong presence of calcareous skeleton, the PH is moderately alkaline, the skeleton is mainly composed of large blocks of marl alternating with quartz sandstone: flysch.
Most of the vineyards are located on steep slopes.
We grow grapes from native vines Aglianico, Fiano, Aglianicone.
Our vineyards extend for 15 hectares, all certified organic since 2015.
