The wines of the Chateau Imperial Tokaj family interpret the elegant and well-balanced style of the Tokaj region. In 1502, the Garai family collected seven plots of land that became the only vineyard in Hétszölö. The estate has 55 hectares of organically farmed land on the southern slopes of the Tokaj mountain where the special microclimate, the unique loess soil, the indigenous grape varieties (Furmint, Hárslevelü) and the 'noble moulds' give the wines harmony, complexity and high quality. Since 2009, Chateau Imperial Tokaj has belonged to the Domaines Reybier group. The philosophy of the company is to treat the vines and wines with the utmost care, listening to nature, in order to bring clean and honest wines to the table with an excellent price-performance ratio.
