Livio Felluga

Born in 1989, it takes its name from the small Sossò stream that rises at the foot of the hill from which the grapes come. The result of a careful selection of Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso with a small contribution of Pignolo, it is the result of meticulous vinification of grapes produced from old Rosazzo vineyards. A wine of great complexity and structure, it is characterized by elegant, ripe, fruity and sweet tannins.

The essence of Vertigo, expressed by traditional varieties such as Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, and international cultivars such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, represents the beauty of Friuli Venezia Giulia in its diversity.

Native Friulian variety of great tradition. Di Manzano reports in the “Annals of Friuli” of 1390 that “the Roman ambassadors offered twenty igastariis (containers) of Refosco wine to the Dominican general”. Bred mainly in the Cappuccina style, the vines of our Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso benefit from soils composed of marl and sandstone of Eocene origin.

Having arrived in Friuli centuries ago and adapted perfectly here, Merlot is a vine of the Friulian tradition, which is expressed in elegant and floral wines with balsamic and spicy notes.

Livio Felluga Rosé is a new way to represent what is most typical we have: the character of our terroir. This character, as well as the Livio Felluga style, can be grasped at the first taste. The creation of Rosé is part of the long series of innovations that our company has introduced over time. In the wake of Livio Felluga, this has never happened to shy away from tradition, but rather taking inspiration from it to make it contemporary and always alive.

Terre Alte was born in 1981 and is considered one of the most prestigious Italian white wines. The harmonious blend of Friulano, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon grapes, grown in Rosazzo in the historic vineyards of the Terre Alte, creates an elegant and rich wine, with intense fruity and floral aromas. It is a wine with great structure which, thanks to aging, acquires a tertiary evolution of notable complexity.

An aristocratic white blend of Friulano, Sauvignon, Pinot Bianco, Malvasia Istriana and Ribolla Gialla, it is obtained from the historic vineyards of the Rosazzo Abbey, to rediscover and exalt the continuity of millenary viticulture.

Created in 1998 by the children of Livio Felluga and dedicated to him for his eighty-fifth birthday, illivio expresses the personality of the "Patriarch", combining strength and elegance.

The essence of Sharis, expressed by traditional varieties such as Ribolla Gialla and Sauvignon, and international cultivars such as Chardonnay, represents the beauty of Friuli Venezia Giulia in its diversity.

An indigenous vine with a centuries-old history, Ribolla Gialla has seen its fame grow since the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Its cradle is the vineyards of the Colli Orientali del Friuli which give the wine delicacy, freshness, liveliness and great refinement.

An international grape variety among the most loved in the world, it has found an excellent terroir on the hills of eastern Friuli, expressing its eclectic potential in refined, complex and velvety wines with multiple floral and fruity scents.

The vine, of French origin, was introduced into Friuli during the domination of the Habsburg and was widespread at the beginning of the 20th century. Fresh and captivating wine, with unmistakable and multiple aromas in which notes of exotic fruit, yellow pepper, tomato leaves, mint, lantana and boxwood are highlighted. It is a traditional Friulian wine.
