As happens in other noble wine regions, the specification for the production area allows the appellation IGT Toscana Rosso (and Bianco) to be "non-vintage", if referred to a blend of different vintages in a percentage higher than 15%. Hence the qualitative choice of making a fresh and pleasant wine that is constant over time; a wine that is always recognizable even in future harvests. The vinification technique therefore envisages the use of the last vintage associated with the reserves kept in the cellar.
