Negroamaro, native to Puglia, is the main black grape variety of Salento. Its origins are very ancient (VIII century AC ), it probably owes its name to the terms “niger” (Latin) and “mavros” (Greek) which both mean black. The great versatility makes it suitable for all types of winemaking.
Denomination: Salento IGP Rosso Negroamaro Vintage: 2018 Color: Intense ruby red with almost impenetrable violet reflections. Perfume: Rich and balanced bouquet. It reveals vinous fragrances that give way to notes of blackberry, black cherry and currant. Spicy nuances on the finish. Taste: Soft, round and full-bodied. Persistent tannin. Pairing: Game, grilled or stewed red meat.
