Planeta 's Burdese is a full-bodied and structured Sicilian red wine based on Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, aged for 14 months in new barriques. The name "Burdese" of the Planeta bottle is taken from the Sicilian dialect and refers, in meaning, to the "Bordeaux" origin of the blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc: usually the term is used on the island to designate those wines that present typical varieties of the wine region in the west of France. In the wide offer of one of the most representative wineries in Sicily, this red offers excellent value for money , as well as a glimpse of the excellence of the wines of this island even when it comes to non-native vines, intuition and skill of the Planeta family.
