Angheli di Donnafugata is a Sicilian red wine with an international character, obtained from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and aged for 12 months in barrique and medium-sized barrels. It is characterized by spicy and Mediterranean aromas, of berries, licorice, graphite and aromatic herbs. The sip is endowed with structure, balance and persistence

Vineyards : On hilly clayey and calcareous soils between 200 and 600 meters above sea level, in the Contessa Entellina estate
Vinification : Fermentation in steel with maceration on the skins for 11-13 days
Aging : 12 months in second passage French oak barriques and tonneau. At least 24 months in the bottle
Color : Compact ruby red tending to garnet Bouquet : Rich, intense and spicy, with notes of ripe red fruit, berries, licorice, dried aromatic herbs and graphite Taste : Soft, enveloping and with good structure, with smooth and good tannins persistence
