Born from the 2019 harvest, 'Rosa' is a wine with a fruity and floral personality and expresses a message of common positivity and rebirth, starting from the roots of the two brands: Sicily.
The new wine is the result of an original blend of two iconic native grape varieties of the island, Nerello Mascalese and Nocera, and is characterized by an elegant bouquet of jasmine, enriched with delicate hints of wild strawberry, peach and bergamot.
The packaging is inspired by the iconic Sicilian cart and contains the island's culture through elements that will recur in all future projects resulting from the collaboration between Dolce & Gabbana and Donnafugata . Rosa Donnafugata AND Dolce & gabbana 2019
Dolce & Gabbana and Donnafugata strengthen their partnership by giving birth to Rosa, an original blend of nerello mascalese and nocera.The production of a rosé was strongly desired by Dolce & Gabbana, fascinated by this unmistakable color, and the name Rosa was chosen precisely to emphasize its personality only. And just as Donnafugata has given life to an unprecedented blend of two Sicilian vines, so the creativity of Dolce & Gabbana has taken up the challenge of narrating this fine wine, taking care of all the coordinated image: the immediately recognizable graphics of the materials draw inspiration from the iconic cart Sicilian, which represents the craftsmanship, culture and tradition of the island all over the world.
