It was renamed 'de Montille' after the union of Marie Eléonore Chauvelot de Chevannes and Étienne Joseph Marie Léonce Bizouard de Montille, Hubert's grandfather, on 9 April 1863. Hubert de Montille (b. 1930) took over the reins of the domaine after the war.
