Castello dei Rampolla is a family-run winery located in the valley of the "Conca d'Oro", south of Panzano in Chianti. Its history began in 1965, when Alceo di Napoli Rampolla inherited the Santa Lucia in Faulle company from his father. Alceo then began a process of modernization of the cellar together with his wife Livia Borgia and their four children. The first harvest, in 1975, gave birth to the first bottle of Chianti Classico, at a time when this type of wine was struggling to establish itself. Today the cellar is managed by Luca and Maurizia.
