Tomintoul Whisky

Seiridh is pronounced "sheh-ree" and is the Gaelic word for sherry. This perfectly balanced single malt matures in American Bourbon casks and achieves its finish in Oloroso Sherry Butts from Jerez in Andalusia, Spain.

Distilled with only peated malt, this fifteen year old from Tomintoul is decidedly atypical with its smoky notes, decidedly "peaty tang".

Smell: notes of hay, dried herbs, hints of earth. Taste: candy, espresso, almonds, notes of toasted butter, vanilla. finish: persistent, notes of almonds, malt.

Smell: notes of heather, citrus notes, honey. Taste: balanced, creamy, sweet, notes of oak, spices. finish: persistent, slightly sweet-spicy.
