"Campus belli", which means battlefield, recalls the legendary battles that took place in these lands, first between the people of Segesta against that of Delinunte, then with the occupation of the Carthaginian army commanded by Hannibal in the year 409 aC and finally it was all devastated by a strong earthquake.
From these territories comes this wine, Nero d'Avola and Caberent Sauvignon: a strong link between autochthonous and international, rich, full-bodied and imposing, with the flavor and aroma of history and legend. The grapes, coming from ancient vineyards, were carefully picked by hand in small crates and delicately de-stemmed and pressed. Fermentation takes place at a temperature of 22-23°C followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine ages partly in French Rivere barrels for 8 months before bottling. Bright red, black pepper and red fruit berries. Good structure and elegance on the palate.Serve at 18°C.
