Ricchi wines express the essence of the terroir, the methodical daily passion, the value of time; the time invested and the time enjoyed while savouring the result of our work.
Born among the
Morenic Hills
Our origins are as unique as the land on which Cantina Ricchi was born.
The fascinating etymology of the name RICCHI goes back to the Latin language, RICHINUS was a wild and difficult territory to cultivate.
Even as far back as 1815, the 27 perches called RICHINUS were classified as Zerbi, i.e. barren, arid fields.
The classification, which would have dissuaded anyone from investing in these hills, did not hinder the foresight of Enrico Stefanoni, great-great-grandfather of the current owner, who planted this gentle hillside with vines, obtaining the excellent wines that today make Cantina Ricchi a corner of paradise.
Cantina Ricchi is a special place where the ethics of production, respect for the natural flow of time, and the use of advanced technologies to obtain impeccable wines while safeguarding sustainability coexist.
Making good wine is good for everyone, including the planet.
Cantina Ricchi is not just a place but an experience full of familiarity, style and care, for the wines as well as for the guests.
