Pianirossi

Sabine is a wine vinified by leaving the skins of Montepulciano grapes to macerate for only a few hours, this gives it a pink colour. The company is located in Porrona, in the Municipality of Cinigiano (GR), the vineyards are cultivated at about 200 m. slm with south and south-west exposure, on medium-textured soils. The production of grapes per hectare is 80 quintals, with a spurred cordon training system. The harvest takes place towards the end of September; after soft pressing, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16º C for about 15 days. The wine is kept in steel in contact with the lees for 4 months. Intense and delicate hints arrive on the nose, with fruity aromas of pomegranate, pineapple and banana, interspersed with floral notes of rose and hawthorn. The taste opens with freshness and acidity, softened by the sweet notes of red fruits and mineral aromas. Perfect as an aperitif and excellent with fish dishes, white meats and fresh cheeses.

La Fonte is an excellent red wine produced with Sangiovese grapes. The vines are cultivated with selected methods for organic farming, in the heart of Tuscany. Even in the cellar there is great attention to raw materials, details and execution, combining tradition and modernity. A combination that makes the winemaking process perfect, with an excellent and unmistakable final product. As soon as it is poured into the glass, it fascinates with its intense bright red colour. On the nose, the attractive and complex aroma recalls red fruits, in particular cherries and wild sour cherries, to which are added notes of flowers and spicy scents. In the mouth the taste is full-bodied with an excellent tannic structure, this gives a particularly pleasant and persistent long finish. A unique wine in its style, and full of elegance. Excellent to accompany red meats, roasts, game and medium-aged cheeses

Solus is a structured wine produced with grapes from 45% Montepulciano, 45% Sangiovese, and 10% Alicante vines, from the Pianirossi company. This project was brought to life by an idea of Stefano Sincini, who had been fascinated by the Maremma hills since he was a boy while studying in Siena, so the desire to create his own label in those places gradually grew in him unforgettable. Solus is aged in small French oak barrels for 12 months. Its color is an intense purple. The predominant aroma is the fruity one of blackberries and wild berries, which then opens up to spicy tones. Round and full wine, with a structure of great character and quality, with a persistent finish and excellent capacity for maturation. It offers its best served as an accompaniment to roasts, grilled meats and medium-aged cheeses.

Toscana Rosso is a wine produced in Cinigiano, in Maremma, from grapes from 40% Petit Verdot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Montepulciano vines. The company includes an uncontaminated expanse of 25 hectares of land, 14 of which are planted with vineyards. The methods selected for cultivation are organic, everything is done manually from pruning to harvest, respecting the environment and the Tuscan wine tradition. The refinement is carried out in small French oak barrels for 15 months.

Sidus is an excellent wine produced from grapes from 60% Sangiovese and 40% Montepulciano vines. The Pianirossi estate was born over twenty years ago, between the hills of Montalcino and the slopes of Mount Amiata, an ancient territory where love for the land and passion for wine are at home. The Sidus is aged in small French oak barrels for 10 months. In the glass its color is lively with shades tending towards purplish. The nose has intense fruity aromas, especially of ripe cherries and wild berries. In the mouth it is delicate and persistent, with soft tannins and good acidity. A wine with excellent balance. It goes perfectly with robust first courses and red meats, but can also accompany cold cuts and aged cheeses.
