Lagavulin

Single Malt - Scozia - Volume alcolometrico: 48% Colore giallo paglierino chiaro, bouquet aromatico ampio ma l'origine salmastra prevale. Molto minerale e terroso, con sprizzi di note agrumate, appena speziato. All'assaggio è di buon corpo, sapido e oleoso, affianca i toni salmastri spiccati al pepe nero, ma anche toni dolci come liquirizia, vaniglia, uva caramellata. Il finale discretamente lungo è tutto su toni di legno bruciato e vaniglia.

Lagavulin matured twice in ex-bodega Pedro Ximenez cask wood for an intense, raisin sweetness that marries beautifully with the smoky power of the regular release to create a powerful, powerful malt flavour.

Bright gold in colour, it releases intense smoky sensations of peat, dried flowers, brackish and iodine notes, malt, candied fruit and caramel; hints that are perfectly reflected in the taste, where the initial heat is tempered with sweetness to end on a long, almost saline finish.
