TECHNICAL-IDENTIFICATION CHARACTERISTICS
Production area: Piave area. Ormelle vineyards.
Grapes: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vinification: late harvested grapes with a minimum natural alcohol content of 13%. Vinification in red with maceration of 15 – 17 days at controlled temperature. 2 years of ageing: stop for 24 months in large barrels with subsequent refinement in the bottle.
Alcohol: 13.5%
Total acidity: 5.70 g/l
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Appearance: intense ruby red color with garnet hues.
Bouquet: rich, intense and elegant. Gives a set of aromas of cherry and berries; sage and cloves, vanilla and a subtle woody note typical of the barrique.
Taste: decisive and tasty, with dense and sweet tannins. The body is remarkable, refined and not weighed down by the woods.
Aftertaste: balanced and clean with a broad sensation of pleasantness.
Suggested serving temperature: starting from 16°C. It is preferable to uncork it a few hours before.
