Obtained from the pomace of the grapes used for the Rocca di Frassinello wine, it is aged in small barrels and therefore amber yellow in color, shiny and transparent; very intense nose with delicate notes of blackberry in the finish. The taste reveals a majestic, regal and complex product, very elegant and refined in the gustatory progression, never aggressive or astringent, perfectly blended in the alcoholic note and juicy and tasty in the infinite references of sweet spices and coffee.

The typical character of Montepulciano dAbruzzo grapes, round and subtly spiced, is enhanced in this powerful and gentle grappa, the result of patient distillation in a bain-marie in double boiler stills: it is the Grappa del Tatone.

Tatone in Abruzzo dialect means grandfather, and the name is well suited to this noble, complex and clean distillate, rounded and refined by aging in barrique: a top-class meditation grappa.
