Santa Cecilia is our flagship wine from the most important Sicilian variety: Nero d'Avola. The long work of finding the best place to make a great wine with this variety led us to Noto, the place of origin of this variety where the DOC Noto stands, at the southern end of Sicily. With its white lands and its ancient vineyards it is the epicenter of the cultivation of Nero d'Avola. Santa Cecilia is an expression of elegance, power, balance and exaltation of the unique aromas of the Sicilian lands, and today a reference point for reds from Sicilian native grapes. Its name derives from that of our family: Planeta di Santa Cecilia.

A great white wine from grapes of Southern Italy, able to compete with the great whites of the world: this is the initial project. For this reason, experimentation on Fiano, a noble and ancient variety of Campania origin, began in the 90s. This is how the Cometa was born, which best expresses the characteristics of this extraordinary vine in an original and unique way. Intense and fruity aromas, its great structure and minerality make it today one of the reference white wines of Southern Italy.

Plumbago - with a spontaneous flower of a beautiful purple color that grows in the woods surrounding the baglio and the Ulmo vineyards - is a pure Nero d'Avola. It comes from the old vineyard around the Orange Lake that gives us this soft and fruity version of this great Sicilian variety. Round tannins and perfectly dosed wood make it a wine of immediate pleasure. Ideal for Mediterranean cuisine based on vegetables and all types of meat.

The history of Etna is dotted with historical eruptions that have shaped its shape. Legendary that of 1614, which lasted 10 years, the longest of all time, stopped right on the border of the Sciaranuova vineyards. A strongly evocative name for our Cru dell'Etna based on Nerello Mascalese. Black soils at high altitude give an elegant, fine and balanced style.

In the local dialect Burdese means Bordeaux and refers to the classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It is a red wine of great density, structure and balance, produced in limited quantities from selected vineyards. Burdese is a great aging wine that offers a complexity of aromas and flavors, fruit of the Sicilian sun.

Planeta 's Syrah Terre Siciliane IGT Maroccoli is a red wine that interprets the qualities of the noble Mediterranean grape with a singular modernity.
