Siro Pacenti 's Brunello di Montalcino is born in vineyards located within the municipality of Montalcino, whose boundaries delimit the production of the DOCG Brunello. It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and then the wine is aged in barrique for 24 months, before being bottled. It is characterized by a ruby red color. From the maceration in contact with the skins of the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes and from the long period of maturation, the Riserve are born, long-lived and complex reds. A wide selection of Reserves is available starting from the 1990 harvest. They are a wonderful accompaniment to lamb, kid, pecorino cheese, game and all the traditional Abruzzo dishes of the hinterland.
